Here's an innaresting story about a clown getting roughed up by the establishment and a whole community forming a protest by .... well, watch it for yourself. Very cool!
From maskfilms.com:
Originally from Oklahoma City, Earl Chaney, illegitimate son of legendary film star Lon Chaney, Jr., knew he wanted to be a clown when he was only six years old after receiving a circus model as a Christmas present. He would stare into the big top each night at bedtime and dream about a future in the circus.
A classic (in other words, old and overdone) routine featuring Mazzy B. Hayes, Molly Tenderheart, Jamdealie D. Light, and Rufus D. Dufus, graduates of the Ohio Clown college. Must be their thesis.
All that powdering is really unnecessary.
I like the way her demeanor changes as the further she gets into make-up, the further she gets into character.
